Creating suitable volunteering roles for displaced people

These are a few things that Organisations can consider when creating volunteering roles that are suitable for displaced people.
  • English requirements: considering that some displaced people come from non english speaking countrierequire intermediate english or easy to understand language for displaced people
  • recognise and celebrate cultural diversity
  • provide equipment/tools during volunteering
  • ask for realistic time commitment
  • provide travel when necessary
