Dublin is served by 4 volunteer centres, each situated in a local authority area – namely Dublin City, Dunlaoghaire Rathdown, Fingal and South Dublin County.  The Centres work together on various programs and projects each year.

Dublin Centres experienced another busy year in 2018 with over 5000 new volunteers registering to volunteer in centres across Dublin.   This resulted in over 1500 new volunteers beginning volunteering.  Those volunteers generated 125,000 hours with a euro value for those volunteering hours of over 2.8 million euro.  This equates to over 70 full time job equivalents to replace those volunteer hours.

During 2019 we worked with over 1300 organisations in Dublin – providing support, training, consultancy and supporting those organisations to register their volunteering roles with us.
