This year's Volunteer Ireland Awards are now accepting nominations. Volunteers are at the heart of all of our communities giving their time freely to help others. They are often in the background and never look for recognition. This is our chance to shine a light on the fantastic work that volunteers do across Ireland - but we need your help!

If you know a volunteer that deserves recognition, nominate them for one of the nine categories below:

  • Animals & Environment
  • Campaigning & Awareness Raising
  • Community
  • Health & Disability
  • Sports & Recreation
  • Arts, Culture & Media
  • Children & Youth
  • Emergency & Ambulance Services
  • Social Work

You can nominate online here with our quick and easy form or it can be sent by post. Every nominee will receive a special 'Thank You' card from Volunteer Ireland. The shortlisted nominees will be invited to special ceremony with their friends and family on 7th December at City Hall Dublin. Deadline for nominations: Sunday 16th October.

Don't want to single out a volunteer?

Don't! You can nominate as many volunteers as you like. If you have 10 great volunteers, why not nominate them all and leave the tough work up to us? Remember every nominee will get a special 'Thank You' card from us!
